Netshop Limited selects Microsoft Navision based
integrated e-Commerce solution

E-commerce company Netshop has commissioned Cambridge
based Anglia Business Solutions to implement Microsoft Navision, the
award-winning integrated business management system at it's head office
location. The solution will handle the integration of its e-commerce site
with a full back office suite of functions including , finance, order
processing, inventory and warehouse management needs of the business from
one centralised solution.
“We had spent some time evaluating various options before discovering
Microsoft Navision” explained Managing Director Belinda Morley. “Its modern
design, look and feel and powerful underlying technology persuaded us that
it was worth seriously considering. We were also reassured by the fact that
the system was provided by Microsoft. However, it was the seamless
integration with the Internet that convinced us that it was the right
solution for us”.
The assessment process involved detailed workshop sessions where the
facilities of the system were extensively explored. Working with consultants
and developers from Anglia Business Solutions, the team were able to
simulate many of the facilities that would be required of the new system.
This was followed with an in-depth company diagnostic exercise where the
requirements were explored and documented.
“We were impressed with the people we worked with at Anglia” explained
Morley. “They took considerable care in understanding the in-depth processes
within the business. This was crucial as we wanted to work with a partner
who understood what we were trying to achieve. We also wanted a system that
suited our well proven business processes rather than having to alter our
methods to fit the system. The work carried out to date indicates that we
have made the right choice.”
