Anglia - Finalist for Information Management
Awards 2003
Anglia Business Solutions was short listed as a finalist for the Information
Management Awards 2003 – B2B Commerce Solution, held at the Grosvenor House
Hotel, in London on the 4th December 2003.
Anglia was been short listed with a Microsoft .NET /
Microsoft Navision implementation for Anglia Telecom. One of the first of
its kind implemented by Anglia and also in the UK. Managing Director, David
Hurley comments “Making a significant investment in Microsoft .NET skills we
believe we can now dramatically reduce customer deployment times on
integrated e-commerce and mobile solutions. The Anglia Telecom solution was
deployed, documented and with user training took just 10 days. The
organisation can now extend their market reach at reduced costs and much
more quickly than previously possible”.
Microscope Partner of the Year 2002
Anglia
Business Solutions was crowned UK MicroScope Partner of the Year 2002.
Earlier that year the company was chosen as the August winner in the
same competition. The twelve finalist organisations competing for the
overall title gathered at a glittering awards ceremony in London on 14th
November. This award was ‘the icing on the cake’ for the company who ended
the financial year in a strong position.
Mark Ballard, Projects Editor for Microscope magazine comments, "Anglia
Business Solutions won the MicroScope 2002 Partner Excellence Awards because
we had nothing but glowing reports from its customers and suppliers. Its
standardised approach to developing business solutions had been mirrored in
the national sales approach of Microsoft Navision, one of its key suppliers.
Earlier this year Microsoft awarded Anglia a Gold accreditation, putting it
among the handful of solution providers in Microsoft's premier league, and
it has been identified as a key strategic component of Microsoft's .NET
strategy in the UK. Moreover, Hewlett-Packard tells us it can find no
supplier of IT to SME's in the East Anglia and Cambridge region to equal
Anglia Business Solutions."
